Pete Seeger

The program development and archival research has been in progress since 1999. The first interview with Pete Seeger was at his cabin home in Beacon, New York. Since that time Folk Music Archives has interviewed Pete several times.  On August 16, 2000,  Pete performed with his grandson Tao Rodriguez at the Adirondack Museum, Blue Mountain Lake, New York as part of the exhibition "Rockwell Kent Remembered." The concert was recorded in digital stereo and is in the archive collection of the Library of Congress American Folklife Center.

Pete Seeger was interviewed on July 20, 2000 at the Sloop Clearwater Club, Beacon, New York  about his association and travels with Rockwell Kent, Woody Guthrie, Paul Robeson, etc.
